The conduct of Rapid PCR tests has commenced at the Katunayake International Airport for Sri Lankans leaving for employment to the United Arab Emirates.
Accordingly, individuals have been requested to arrive at the BIA four hours prior to the departure time.
The Civil Aviation Authority said the measure was taken after the UAE had announced that all individuals arriving in the country must have a report confirming that they have tested negative for COVID-19.
