Former Parliamentarian Ranjan Ramanayake who was detained at the Welikada Prison Hospital has been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital.
Prison Headquarters said he was admitted to the National Hospital for treatment after he was directed to the Orthopedic Clinic this morning.
Ranjan Ramanayake is currently serving a four-year prison term after being found guilty on a case filed on charges of contempt of court.
