Persons who did not receive the Rs.2,000 allowance can now direct appeals.
The Presidential Task Force on Economics Revival and Poverty Eradication said the Rs.2,000 grant is being provided in several areas across the country.
Persons living in areas where the distribution of the grant has been concluded, and have not received the grant although they have lost their source of income can direct their appeals to the Divisional Secretary.
The Task Force said steps were taken to distribute the Rs.2,000 allowance to other areas promptly.
