Prospective university students to receive registration details via SMS & e-mail

The University Grants Commission says students who have been selected for university admission based on results of the 2021 GCE Advanced Level Examination exam will be notified via SMS and e-mail today.

COLOMBO (NewsRadio); The University Grants Commission says students who have been selected for university admission based on results of the 2021 GCE Advanced Level Examination exam will be notified via SMS and e-mail today.

The Chairman of the University Grants Commission, Professor Sampath Amaratunga said once they receive the information, students can register for their selected course and university.

UGC Chairman Prof. Sampath Amaratunga said registrations can be completed by visiting the UGC website.

Prof. Amaratunga noted that in the event of any vacancies following the completion of the registration process, appeals for university entrance will be considered.

The cut-off marks for students who passed the 2021 A/L Examination were released on the 2nd of December.

Prof. Amaratunga said after the completion of the registration process, the enrolment of students for universities will be carried out systematically from next January.
