COLOMBO (NewsRadio); Lanka Sathosa has once again reduced prices of five essential commodities.
The price reduction is effective as of today at all Sathosa outlets.
Lanka Sathosa issuing a statement said the measure has been taken in order to provide relief to consumers.
Accordingly, the price of a kilogram of red dhal has been reduced by Rs. 6 to Rs. 299.
Meanwhile, with effect from today, a kilogram of big onions has been reduced by Rs. 15 to Rs. 195.
According to Lanka Sathosa statement, a kilogram of potatoes has been reduced by Rs. 40 to Rs. 290, a kilogram of garlic by Rs. 30 to Rs. 620 and a kilogram of sprats by Rs. 30 to Rs. 1,100 with effect from today at all Sathosa outlets.
