COLOMBO (NewsRadio); The price of a 50kg bag of Muriate of Potash (MoP) fertiliser also known as ‘bundi pohora’ has been reduced by Rs.4,500.
The Ministry of Agriculture said the new price of a 50kg bag of MoP fertiliser will be Rs.15,000.
The Ministry noted that fertiliser bags at new prices will be available at Agrarian Services Centres across the country.
The Ministry of Agriculture said it decided to reduce the prices of fertiliser, taking note of the upcoming Yala harvest season.
