COLOMBO (NewsRadio); The price of a 12.5kg Litro domestic gas cylinder has been increased by Rs.343 with effect from midnight today.
Accordingly, the new price of a 12.5kg Litro gas cylinder will be Rs.3,470 in Colombo from tomorrow.
Litro Gas said the price of a 5kg domestic gas cylinder has also been increased by Rs. 137.
Accordingly, the new price of a 5kg domestic gas cylinder will be Rs. 1,393 in Colombo.
Litro Gas has increased the price of a 2.3kg gas cylinder by Rs. 63 to Rs. 650.
Litro Chairman Muditha Peiris noted that the prices were revised based on the pricing formula introduced by the government.
The Litro Chairman said he expects the price of gas in the world market to increase continuously till about February next year.
Accordingly, local prices are also expected to rise in the coming months.
