COLOMBO (NewsRadio); President Ranil Wickremesinghe is currently attending the Commonwealth Leaders’ Meeting in London.
The President’s Media Division said the meeting is being held at the Commonwealth Secretariat.
President Ranil Wickremesinghe left for the United Kingdom on Thursday to attend the coronation ceremony of King Charles III.
The coronation ceremony is scheduled to take place at 11am at the Westminster Abbey.
Meanwhile, President Ranil Wickremesinghe has met with President of Rwanda Paul Kagame in London.
The President’s Media Division said the two parties discussed potential areas of cooperation on agriculture and healthcare between the two nations.
The PMD added that both leaders during the meeting proposed an exchange of visits by relevant ministers and discussed military cooperation.
President Wickremesinghe has also offered to train Rwandan nationals for rapid response to natural disasters.
