President Ranil Wickremesinghe has instructed health officials to take necessary steps to develop and upgrade the Mahiyanganaya Regional Hospital.

COLOMBO (NewsRadio); President Ranil Wickremesinghe has instructed health officials to take necessary steps to develop and upgrade the Mahiyanganaya Regional Hospital.

The President’s Media Division said during a meeting with government officials in Badulla today, the President instructed the Health Ministry officials to take necessary steps to upgrade the Mahiyanganaya Regional Hospital into a district hospital and the Bandarawela District Hospital into a base hospital.

The Head of State has also directed officials to develop the Girandurukotte Hospital and the Diyatalawa Base Hospital in the Badulla District considering the requirement of areas residents.
