COLOMBO (NewsRadio); President Ranil Wickremesinghe has assured to conduct the 73rd Higher Ordination (Upasampada) Ceremony of the Sri Lanka Ramanna Chapter under full state patronage.
President Wickremesinghe said the present administration if fully committed to safeguarding Buddhism and in order to do so it will uplift and support the wellbeing of the Maha Sangha off all chapters.
The President gave these assurances during a discussion held at the Presidential Secretariat.
