Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa says the current government is not a wise government but a government of disaster.
MP Premadasa said patriotism, nationalism and other matters have been disregarded in the face of the dollar.
Speaking at an event in Ambalantota today MP Premadasa said the government is the sole creator of all issues the public is faced with.
MP Premadasa said substandard fertiliser that was rejected twice after being tested were returned and the consignment is now returning to Sri Lanka adding that this is a threat to national security.
MP Premadasa claimed the government was fooled by a faction that organic fertiliser can be provided by the month of August adding they were instead introduced to nano nitrogen liquid fertiliser.
The Opposition Leader said India has just begun testing the fertiliser adding that nitrogen liquid fertiliser is being used in addition to chemical fertiliser and not as a lone subsidy.
Premadasa claimed the nitrogen liquid fertiliser is provided in addition to the chemical fertiliser and demanded the government to bring to a halt the fertiliser crisis.
