The Police Headquarters says images circulating on social media platforms claiming to be that of Senior DIG Ajith Rohana receiving treatment at an Intensive Care Unit are in fact of an unknown individual.
SDIG Rohana is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital in Colombo after contracting COVID-19.
The Police Headquarters said the health condition of SDIG Ajith Rohana has improved after receiving treatment.
