The Department of Pensions says summoning pensioners has been suspended until further notice owing to the prevailing COVID-19 situation in the country.
Director General of Pensions Jagath Dias said the decision will come into effect from tomorrow.
Accordingly, a request has been made to pensioners to refrain from visiting the Department for all matters including pension activation interviews.
