Parliamentarian Rishad Bathiudeen who has been arrested in relation to the 2019 Easter Sunday attacks has been further remanded till the 7th of September.
The order was issued by Colombo Fort Magistrate Priyantha Liyanage.
The Magistrate, considering a request made by the counsel representing the accused, decided to take up the case once again on the 7th of this month.
Meanwhile, several other individuals including Attorney Hejaaz Hizbullah arrested in relation to the bombings have been further remanded until the 15th of September.
