Parliament to debate the IMF agreement on 26, 27 & 28 April

Parliament will debate the government’s agreement with the International Monetary Fund for an USD 2.9 billion Extended Fund Facility next week.

COLOMBO (NewsRadio); Parliament will debate the government’s agreement with the International Monetary Fund for an USD 2.9 billion Extended Fund Facility next week.

The decision was taken to hold a three-day debate during today’s party leaders’ meeting.

Accordingly, the debate will take place on the 26th, 27th and 28th of April.

Party leaders’ meeting took place this morning under the auspices of Speaker of House Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena.
