COLOMBO (NewsRadio); Parliament is scheduled to convene this morning.

The first Parliament sitting day of the first sitting week of March is scheduled to commence at 9.30am.

Time has been allotted between 9.30am to 10.30am for Questions for Oral Answers.

Thereafter, from 10.30am to 4pm three Regulations under the Motor Traffic Act published under the Gazette notifications 2287/28, 2301/17 and 2306/02 are scheduled to be taken up for debate and passed in Parliament.

Meanwhile, the Motion at the Adjournment Time by the government will be taken up for debate between 4am and 5.30pm today.
