The protests initiated by parents in support of teachers and principals and their concerns over salary anomalies is currently underway.

NewsRadio regional correspondents said protests have been organised opposite several schools.

NewsRadio reporters stated that certain parents were witnessed holding placards in support of the teachers struggle.

Speaking to our reporter’s, parents claimed the teachers trade union action being prolonged is a concern, adding that teachers are engaged in educational activities at schools while simultaneously engaging in the union action.

Therefore, they highlight that such actions will affect children’s education.
