O/L Exam to be held in May -Commissioner General

Newly appointed Commissioner-General of Examinations Amith Jayasundara has announced that the 2022 GCE Ordinary Level Examination will be held in May this year.

COLOMBO (NewsRadio); Newly appointed Commissioner-General of Examinations Amith Jayasundara has announced that the 2022 GCE Ordinary Level Examination will be held in May this year.

Commissioner-General Amith Jayasundara said the exam timetable will be finalized after obtaining approval of the Ministry of Education.

He noted that the exam timetable will be prepared after considering the time required to cover the syllabus.

Meanwhile, the GCE Advanced Level Examination will begin later this month. The Examinations Department previously announced that it requires at least a three-month gap between national exams.
