Police say steps have been put in place to facilitate all public servants arriving through inter-provincial boarders to travel without any roadblocks from today.

Police Media Spokesman Senior DIG Ajith Rohana however requested all public servants to provide relevant documentation to Police Officers without any hindrance if any confirmation is required.

Senior DIG Rohana also requested all to priorities quarantine regulations when travelling on public transport including always wearing a face mask.

The Police Media Spokesman said drivers, assistants and conductors must adhere to health guidelines issued by the Director General of Health Services adding if they are found to be in violation of these guidelines, action will be taken under the Quarantine and Prevention of Diseases Ordinance.
