The government has imposed a maximum price cap on PCR and Rapid Antigen tests conducted by private establishments.
Minister of Health Pavithra Wanniarachchi said establishments can conduct PCR tests at Rs.6,500 while a Rapid Antigen test can be carried out at Rs.2,000.
The Minister said the Gazette Notification in this regard will be issued tomorrow.
