More than 25 million vaccine doses administered in SL

More than 25 million vaccine doses have been administered against the coronavirus as of yesterday.

A total of 25,110,877 vaccine doses have been administered thus far.

The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said 183,278 individuals were administered COVID vaccines yesterday.

945 individuals were administered the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine while 38,312 received the second dose.

Meanwhile 100,590 persons were administered the first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine, while 36,854 persons received the second dose.

4,220 individuals received the second dose of the Sputnik-V vaccine while 868 persons were given the first jab of the Pfizer vaccine, and 144 received the second dose.

1,295 individuals were inoculated with the first Moderna shot while 50 persons received the second Moderna jab.

Meanwhile, 11,203,890 persons have been fully vaccinated thus far.
