The number of individuals who have been fully vaccinated in Sri Lanka against the coronavirus has surpassed 10 million.
The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said a total of 10,211,537 individuals have thus far been fully vaccinated.
352,008 vaccine doses were administered yesterday at centres across the island. 9,778 individuals were administered the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine while 669 persons were administered the second dose.
The first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine was administered to 111,870 individuals with 201,834 persons receiving the second jab.
Meanwhile one individual was administered the first dose of the Sputnik-V vaccine.
14,279 individuals were administered the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine while 507 were given the second jab.
The first jab of the Moderna vaccine was administered to 30 persons while the second jab was given to 13,040 individuals.
