(NewsRadio); A minor tremor of 2.4 magnitude on the Richter scale has been reported in Buttala.
The Geological Survey and Mines Bureau said the tremor was felt at around 11.20pm and the epicenter was around the Buttala area at the depth of one kilometer.
The Geological Survey and Mines Bureau noted that the tremor was recorded at the Mahakanadarawa, Hakmana, Pallekele, Buddangala seismic stations.
No reports of damages have been reported due to the tremor.
