Sri Lanka’s Milka Gehani de Silva today finished 28th in her Artistic Gymnastics qualifying group two of the Women’s All-Around event at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
Milka Gehani totalled 45.798 at the Ariake Gymnastics Centre with 13.366 in vault, 10.866 in uneven bars, 11.266 in Balance beam and 10.300 in floor rotation.
Angelina Melnikova who is representing the Russian Olympic Committee finished on top of the group with 57.132 points.
Milka will now have to wait until the remaining subdivisions are completed to see whether she has qualified for the finals of the Women’s All-Around event of the 2020 Olympics to be held on Thursday.
The top 24 gymnasts will qualify for the finals of the event with only two persons from each member nations or Olympic committees.
