COLOMBO (NewsRadio); An individual has been arrested for the possession of 500g of heroin and 125kg of Kerala cannabis in Wattala.
Based on a tip-off received by the Maligawatta Police, officers have also seized Rs.199,000 in cash, a mobile phone and two scales from suspect’s possession.
The suspect is a 55-year-old resident of Colombo-13.
He is scheduled to be produced before the Welisara Magistrate’s Court today.
The Maligawatta Police is conducting further investigations.
