Chairman of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party Former President Maithripala Sirisena says everyone must join in efforts to protect the environment.
Speaking at a religious event in Kandy, Former President Sirisena said geologists and other related parties are responsible for seeking creative solutions to prevent landslides in the central hills.
The Former President said the environment has not been kind to Sri Lanka in the recent months.
The SLFP Chairman called on the public to join this cause.
