Eight new Cabinet appointments have been made by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa this morning.
New Ministers took oaths before the President at the President’s House in Colombo.
The President’s Media Division said Mahinda Amaraweera has taken oath as the Minister for Agriculture, Wildlife & Forest Conservation.
13 Cabinet Ministers were sworn in previously.
The new Cabinet consists of members of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna, the United National Party, the Sri Lanka Freedom Party and the Samagi Jana Balawegaya.
