Police have arrested a minor staff member of the Lunawa District Hospital for selling Sinopharm vaccine doses for Rs.2,000.
Police Media Spokesman Senior DIG Ajith Rohana said the suspect was arrested by investigative officers of the Ministry of Health and the Mount Lavinia Police Intelligence officers.
The Senior DIG said the suspect had forged vaccination cards as part of the scam and sold them for money.
The 50 year old suspect will be produced before the Moratuwa Magistrates Court today.
