COLOMBO (NewsRadio); Table toppers Kandy Falcons will take on Defending Champions Jaffna Kings in the Qualifier 1 of the 2022 Lanka Premier League tournament in Colombo this afternoon.
The game at the R Premadasa International Cricket Stadium is scheduled to begin at 3pm.
The winner of the contest will qualify for the finals of the tournament while today’s loser will get another opportunity to qualify for the finals during tomorrow’s Qualifier 2.
Meanwhile later today, Colombo Stars will take on Galle Gladiators in the Eliminator of tournament.
The game will also be played at the R Premadasa Stadium from 7.30pm. The winner of that game will progress to tomorrow Qualifier 2.
The team that wins tomorrow’s game will qualify for the 2022 LPL finals to be played on Friday in Colombo.
