Chairman of the All Island Canteen Owners Association Asela Sampath says they will not impose stipulated prices at restaurants.

Speaking at a media briefing today, Sampath said the prices of all goods increase with the revision of fuel prices.

He said bakery owners have also withdrawn from imposing a control price on bakery products, adding that they too will follow suit.

Sampath added the price of food items will significantly increase.
