Minister Ramesh Pathirana says he will work towards easing the education stress on school children and introducing technology during his term as Minister of Education.
Speaking at an event yesterday the Minister said he was appointed to the post recently and is not aware of how long he will remain in the post.

He noted that the Ministry of Education is working towards this purpose, including easing their burdens and to lay the foundation to enter the workforce.
Minister Pathirana said during the coronavirus, students experienced smart classrooms, adding that this was the silver lining as students were compelled to resort to technology.
