The JVP says they are ready to take every measure to ensure the public expectations are fulfilled.
Speaking to media today Party Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake said the peoples struggle has won, when the public understand the true motives embedded within the protest movement.
He stressed that the peoples struggle is not only centred around the President and Prime Minister, but stretches beyond that.
MP Dissanayake said the people expect the country to look at better ways of managing an economy and developing the country, both of which the government has failed to do during their tenure.
He also called for a major change in Sri Lanka’s political culture which creates leaders who move with the people, and not above them.
