Parliamentarian Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe claims the country will have to deal with famine and massive commotions in the next three weeks.
Speaking to media yesterday, MP Rajapakshe said the country’s foreign exchange crisis will deteriorate further.
The Parliamentarian noted that in the next two weeks, the country’s foreign reserves will be empty and the government will not be able to provide essential commodities to the public.
MP Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe also said after 20th Amendment of the Constitution, the Prime Minister and the Cabinet of Ministers have become slaves of the President.
MP Rajapakshe said a country cannot function efficiently under such circumstances.
Meanwhile, MP Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe commenting on the country’s rulers said the public should elect persons who are able to assess the situation of a nation.
He said despite claiming to have seven brains, some individuals do not even have basic knowledge about the economy.
MP Rajapakshe requested the public to grant a mandate at the next election, be it a Presidential or a Parliamentary election, to cancel or amend agreements that are detrimental to the country.
