Parliamentarian Kumara Welgama believes the Presidential system should be abolished and Parliament should be vested with powers to run the country.
Speaking to media in Colombo yesterday, MP Welgama said the President can be a namesake individual.
The MP said a senate-like council should be formed to oversee matters.
