Sri Lankans in many parts of the country will once again take to the streets today to express their opposition to the present administration and to demand the resignation of all members of the government.
Protesters say the present administration is responsible for all the crises in the country including the rising cost of living, economic crisis and the fuel and gas crisis.
Protests have been organised in several sites in Colombo and across the island.
The mass demonstration organised at the Galle Face green continued yesterday as well.
Meanwhile, the Socialist Youth Union organised a protest in Kandy yesterday.
During the demonstration, protesters said they will not back down until the entire government resigns.
They also called on the public to rally against the present administration. Protesters claimed that several factions are attempting to sabotage their struggle.
Meanwhile, a number of public demonstrations were held across Sri Lanka yesterday in support of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and the present government.
