Prof. Sunanda Madduma Bandara has been appointed as the Senior Presidential Advisor-Media by the Secretary to the President, Saman Ekanayake.
Meanwhile, Kshenuka Senewiratne has been appointed as Senior Presidential Advisor-International Affairs.
The appointments have been made on the directives of President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
Prof. Sunanda Madduma Bandara was the former Vice Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya and also headed of Departments of Economics and Social Sciences.
He also held the post of Secretary to the State Ministry of Media and Director General of the Government Information Department.
Kshenuka Senewiratne was a former Sri Lankan High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and also the Sri Lanka’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York and Geneva.
