Two persons including the chief suspect who were arrested for causing an injury to a Police officer who was engaged in a narcotic raid in Obeysekarapura, Rajagiriya have been further remanded till the 12th of October.
The order was issued by Colombo Additional Magistrate Shalani Perera.
The Additional Magistrate also ordered the Prison Superintendent to produce the suspects before an identification parade on the 12th.
The Nugegoda and Colombo Crimes Divisions launched a joint investigation to arrest the chief suspects who fled in a vehicle after an altercation with a Policeman who was engaged in a raid to crackdown on a narcotic racket in Rajagiriya.
The incident was reported on the 20th of September.
The Talangama Police arrested two persons on charges of aiding and abetting the suspects involved in the incident while the duo is being detained following Court orders.
The car was seized by Police while at a house in Talangama.
A female at the residence was also arrested on suspicion of involvement in the incident and was remanded till the 29th of September after being produced before court.
