Two persons have been reported missing after entering the Sinharaja forest reserve to collect cardamom seeds.

A complaint has been lodged with the Suriyakanda Police over the disappearance of two women aged 39 and 40 years.

The missing women are residents of Ittakanda. An operation is underway to locate the duo while the Suriyakanda Police is conducting further investigation.
