Today’s power cut schedule

The Ceylon Electricity Board will impose two-hour-and-15-minute power cuts across the country today.

According to the power management schedule approved by the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka, power cuts will be imposed under five timeslots.

The Colombo City Commercial Zone will have power cuts between 6am and 8.35am.

The CEB said power cuts will be imposed to F,G and R zones between 8.30am and 11.15am while power cuts for H, I, S and T will be between 3pm and 5.45pm.

Furthermore, A, B, K, L, U, V and W zones will have power cuts between 5.15pm and 7.45pm while zones C, D, E, P and Q will have two-hour-and-15-minute power cuts between 7.30pm and 10.15pm.

Power cuts are being imposed owing to lack of fuel for power generation.
