The Tamil National Alliance has decided to participate in the All Party Conference scheduled to be held on the 23rd of March.
When inquired by NewsRadio, a spokesperson said the decision was taken by the Leader of the TNA Parliamentarian R Sampanthan.
Meanwhile, the National People’s Power confirmed that it has received an invitation to attend the All Party Conference on Wednesday.
Parliamentarian Dr. Harini Amarasuriya when contacted by NewsRadio said the party is yet to reach a decision pertaining to attending the conference.
Meanwhile, Parliamentarian Tissa Attanayake said his faction has not received an invitation to attend the conference.
He said a decision on attending the conference will be taken once they receive an invitation.
Meanwhile, Former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe is expected to represent the United National Party at the conference.
The All Party Conference has been called by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa reportedly following a request made by the Sri Lanka Freedom Party.
