The All Ceylon Three Wheeler Owners Association says the three wheeler industry is under immense pressure due to the current fuel crisis.
Chairman of the Association Lalith Dharmasekera speaking to NewsRadio said a number of issues could arise if authorities fail to resolve the fuel crisis promptly.
He noted that livelihoods of a number of individuals are threatened as they are forced to remain in fuel queues for prolonged periods.
Dharmasekara said the country’s leaders are insensitive to the plight of the people and accused those in power of creating the present crisis.
Dharmasekara said the public has lost faith in the government and predicted the situation would worsen in the future.
