Three fourth year students of the Medical Faculty of the University of Kelaniya who were arrested over assaulting a third year student have been released on bail.

The order was issued by the Wattala Magistrate’s Court.

Police said the three students were arrested by the Ragama Police.

Meanwhile, six suspects including State Minister Arundika Fernando’s son, who were arrested over assaulting a group of students of the Medical Faculty of the University of Kelaniya were remanded until the 7th of February.
