The Socialist Youth Union has decided to stage a protest today in Colombo, demanding legal action be taken against former Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa over attacks on protesters at Galle Face Green last week.
The protest is scheduled to be held at 3pm.
The union demands authorities to immediately arrest the former Prime Minister in relation to the attacks.
