A stock of narcotics worth around Rs.32 million has been seized by the Sri Lanka Customs at the Central Mail Exchange.
The Customs said the narcotics were found during an inspection of eight parcels.
The parcels were addressed to residents of Colombo, Gampaha, and Kandy from the United Kingdom, Canada, and Germany.
Investigations revealed that the addresses were fake. 1,590g of kush cannabis and 601 narcotic pills were found in the parcels.
The parcels have been handed over to the Police Narcotics Bureau for further investigations.
