The opposition claims those who came into power claiming they will not sell a single inch of state land or state assets have been trading state resources at a rapid rate.
Speaking to media in Kandy, Parliamentarian Mayantha Dissanayake said it is evident that the government hopes to sell state assets with the daily collapse of the economy.
The Parliamentarian said the government also claimed it will provide fertiliser free of charge with a promise of a brighter future for the farming community.
He said however farming communities in the Mahaweli Zone and Up Country areas are facing great difficulties due to the fertiliser shortage.
The MP said the fertiliser crisis will affect the Maha season adding the government has failed in its responsibilities with incorrect policies.
MP Dissanayake meanwhile promised to provide fertiliser free of charge under a future government led by their faction.
