A stock of 11,000 MT of rice granted by India has arrived at the Colombo Port.
The Indian High Commission in Colombo said the stock of rice from India reached Colombo on board the ship Chen Glory today ahead of the New Year.
It added 16,000 MT of rice had been supplied under India’s multi-pronged support to Sri Lanka in the past week alone.
The High Commission said India will continue to support Sri Lanka to overcome the current challenges.
