Sri Lanka has received 25 tonnes of medical supplies with a value of Rs. 260 million from India.
The consignment was handed over to Minister of Health Keheliya Rambukwella by Acting High Commissioner of India in Colombo Vinod K Jacob this evening.
The Indian High Commission in Colombo said the consignment of humanitarian supplies which came on board INS Gharial today also include a stock of kerosene oil for the use of fishermen.
The supplies are expected to be distributed among the beneficiaries in the next few days.
