Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna Parliamentarian Pradeep Undugoda believes a solution to the gas and fuel shortages will be provided in another two weeks.
Speaking to NewsRadio, MP Undugoda claimed the government was taking necessary steps to resolve the debt crisis.
The Parliamentarian said the President addressed the nation last evening to inform the public of the prevalent issues.
He said long-term solutions are required to face all prevalent crises.
The MP added the gas and fuel shortages are short-term concerns.
MP Undugoda claimed the current debt crisis is not a result of the decisions reached by the present administration, adding all previous governments must accept responsibility.
