The Cabinet Paper to issue soft liquor licenses to all establishments registered with the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority has been approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.
Minister of Tourism Harin Fernando said the move will help promote tourism and generate foreign revenue to the country including all tourism stakeholders.
The Minister cited this as a significant achievement for tourism in Sri Lanka.
