SLTB resumes operations

The Sri Lanka Transport Board says SLTB services resumed across the country as soon as the curfew was lifted.

When contacted by NewsRadio, the Deputy General Manager of the SLTB Panduka Swarnahansa said steps have been taken to resume operations before 7am.

Swarnahansa said all SLTB employees have been informed of the decision adding however there may be some delays in employees reporting to work.

The SLTB Deputy General Manager said additional buses can be added to the service since buses for school services are not required.
